PSALM 91 IS A POWERFUL WEAPON WE AS BELIEVERS IN THE TRUTH HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO STAND AGAINST THE ENEMY’S POWERLESS ATTACKS AGAINST US.  WHEN WE “DWELL IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH” WE ARE ENTERING A PLACE OF REFUGE AND SECURITY THAT PROMISES TO SHIELD US FROM EVERYTHING THE ENEMY MAY USE TO DRAW US INTO FEAR, DEFEAT, SICKNESS, DOUBT, LACK OR ANY OTHER OF HIS MANY LIES.  THIS IS WHERE WE EXERCISE THE POWER AND AUTHORITY WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THROUGH THE CROSS AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS!  HE GIVES US THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF GETTING AWAY WITH THE FATHER IN PRAYER THEN FULLY RESISTING ALL TEMPTATIONS OF THE ENEMY AS HE MINISTERED AND HEALED THE PEOPLE ON A DAILY BASIS.  WHEN WE ARE ENCOUNTERING THE ENEMY IS NOT THE TIME TO START PRAYING.  WE SHOULD BE “PRAYED UP” SO WHEN THE ATTACKS COME, WE SPEAK THE AUTHORITY WE HAVE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!  THE POWER OF THESE PROMISES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WHEN WE SPEND TIME DWELLING WITH THE FATHER…WHEN WE KNOW HIS NAME AND WE LOVE HIM.  THEN WE WILL SEE EVERY PROMISE FULFILLED.  HIS FAITHFULNESS IS OUR PROTECTION!  JOIN US AS WE COMMIT TO PRAY PSALM 91 AND PUT OUR FULL TRUST IN THE LORD AS OUR REFUGE AND OUR FORTRESS IN EVERY SITUATION!  IF YOU HAVE A TESTIMONY OF HOW YOU HAVE SEEN THE LORD’S PROTECTION IN YOUR LIFE THROUGH THE PROMISES OF PSALM 91, WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.  PLEASE SHARE YOUR STORY WITH US AT DONNA.CHRISTWALK@GMAIL.COM

I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and I will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I say to the Lord "My Refuge and my Fortress, my God, in whom I trust!" For it is You who delivers me from the snare of the trapper and from deadly pestilence. You will cover me with Your feathers, and underYour wings I will seek refuge; Your faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. I will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not approach me. I will only look on with my eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. For I have made You, my refuge, even the Most High, my dwelling place. No evil will befall me, nor will any plague come near my tent. For You will give your angles charge concerning me, to guard me in all my ways. They will bear me up in their hands, that I do not strike my foot against a stone. I will tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent I will trample down.
Because I have loved You, You will deliver me; you will set me securely on high, because I have known Your Name. I will call upon You and You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble; You will rescue me and honor me. With a long life You will satisfy me and let me see Your salvation.
